Freight modes

Four ways an order leaves the warehouse

An injector goes by courier, a pallet of filters goes LCL, a stores restock goes in a container.

Mode 01

Air freight

2–5 days to most GCC, African and South Asian destinations

For line-down orders and high-value, low-weight parts. Airport-to-airport or door-to-door, with the airway bill sent on your quote thread.

Mode 02

LCL sea freight

Consolidated weekly, export from Dubai

For pallets and part-loads. Packed onto export pallets and loaded on the weekly sailing to your port.

Mode 03

FCL sea freight

20 ft and 40 ft containers

For fleet restocking and volume buyers. Loaded, sealed and documented at our warehouse, with a carton-by-carton packing list.

Mode 04

Container consolidation

Multiple suppliers, one shipment

Orders from several suppliers checked and loaded into one container — one bill of lading, one clearance at your end.

Door-to-door is available on every mode. Where overland is faster — the near GCC — the quote says so.

Transit times

Indicative transit by region, from Dubai

For planning, not a promise. Sea is port to port, excluding destination customs; your quote carries the exact figure.

Indicative air and sea transit times from Dubai by destination region, with LCL consolidation frequency.

Documentation

What travels with the shipment

Invoice, packing list and certificate of origin as standard. Anything else, tell us at order stage.

  • Commercial invoice — part numbers, quantities, values, incoterm and currency.
  • Packing list — cartons, dimensions, weights, and which line is in which carton.
  • Certificate of origin — for the consignment.
  • Chamber attestation and embassy legalisation — on request, for markets that require it.
  • HS codes — on the invoice where your broker needs them.
  • Airway bill or bill of lading, and a pre-alert — sent as soon as the shipment is booked.

Packing

Export packing standards

Packed for the mode and the journey, and quoted with the freight.

  • Each line in its own packaging with the part number visible.
  • Palletised, strapped and shrink-wrapped for LCL and FCL, with labelled pallets.
  • Heavy or awkward items — crankshafts, cylinder heads, radiators, glass — crated or braced.
  • Machined surfaces protected against corrosion for sea transit.
  • Fluids packed apart from filters, electrical parts and upholstery.
  • Containers loaded heavy-low and braced; the stow is recorded on the packing list.
Sealed shipping cartons with fragile labels and a packing list, stacked ready for dispatch.

Dangerous goods

Airbags, batteries and other regulated items

Airbags, pretensioners, batteries, aerosols, paints and some fluids are dangerous goods in transit.

  • Declared, classified, packed and marked to IATA (air) and IMDG (sea) rules.
  • A dangerous goods declaration and, where required, a safety data sheet travel with the goods.
  • Where a carrier or country refuses air carriage, the item goes by sea and the quote says so.
  • Quoted separately from general cargo — own handling charge, own transit.
  • Tell us at enquiry if a line is an airbag, battery or chemical.
